Delete your TravelVPN account and personal data

You may request permanent deletion of your TravelVPN account and the personal data associated with it. For security, the request must be sent from the email address linked to the account.

Important: deleting your account does not always cancel an active subscription. Cancel the subscription first through the same payment provider used for the purchase.

How to request deletion

Send the request from the email address connected to your TravelVPN account.
Use the subject line Delete my TravelVPN account.
Send the request to support@travelvpn.eu.

Request Account Deletion

We may ask you to confirm ownership of the email address or provide additional information necessary to identify the correct account.

What will be deleted or anonymised

After the request is verified, we will delete or anonymise data associated with the account, including where applicable:

Your TravelVPN account profile and account email.
Authentication sessions, refresh tokens and active login sessions.
Registered device records and device names.
VPN access records and account-linked provisioning data.
Account-linked connection and service metadata.
Support information that is no longer required.
Other personal information linked to the TravelVPN account.

Subscriptions and payments

Deleting your TravelVPN account does not automatically cancel your subscription.

If you purchased your subscription through the TravelVPN website, cancel it first through the Stripe Customer Portal. If you purchased through Google Play or another app store, cancel it through that store before requesting account deletion.

Account deletion does not automatically create a refund for previous payments. Refund requests are handled separately under the Refund Policy.

Data we may retain

Certain records may be retained when required for legal, tax, accounting, fraud-prevention, security, dispute-resolution or regulatory purposes.

Retained information is limited to what is necessary, stored for the applicable retention period and not used to continue providing the deleted account.

Processing time

Verified deletion requests are normally completed within 30 days. We will contact you if additional information is required or if applicable law permits an extension.

A confirmation email will be sent when the request has been completed.
