This Privacy Policy explains how TravelVPN collects, uses, shares and protects personal data when you use the TravelVPN website, Android application, customer portal, support services and VPN service.
1. Who is responsible for your data
TravelVPN is operated by Freedom Conexion Group S.L., Spain. Freedom Conexion Group S.L. is the data controller for personal data processed directly by TravelVPN, except where a third-party provider acts as an independent controller for its own services.

2. Services covered by this policy
This policy applies to:
- The TravelVPN website at travelvpn.eu.
- The TravelVPN Android application.
- TravelVPN account registration and Magic Login.
- Subscription, billing and Customer Portal functions.
- Device registration and management.
- VPN connection and location-selection functions.
- Contact forms, support messages and account-deletion requests.
3. Personal data we collect
Account and contact data
- Name, when provided during registration or checkout.
- Email address used for the TravelVPN account, login and support.
- Phone number, only when voluntarily provided or required by a specific form.
- Messages and information included in support or contact requests.
Subscription and transaction data
- Selected plan, billing period, trial status and subscription status.
- Payment-provider customer and subscription identifiers.
- Transaction status, payment date, amount, currency and invoice-related information.
- Payment channel, such as the TravelVPN website, Stripe or Google Play.
TravelVPN does not store full payment-card numbers or card security codes. Payment details are processed by the applicable payment provider.
Application and device data
- Registered device identifier and device name.
- Device platform, app version and limited device information needed for compatibility and support.
- Authentication sessions, access tokens and refresh tokens.
- Selected TravelVPN location and current connection state.
- Public IP address displayed in the application.
- Connection timestamps and traffic counters used to show service status in the application.
- Technical errors and diagnostic information needed to operate, secure and troubleshoot the service.
Website data
- Basic request data such as IP address, browser type, requested page and timestamp.
- Cookies or local-storage data needed for website functionality, security and account sessions.
- Information submitted through website forms.
4. VPN traffic and activity logs
TravelVPN does not intentionally collect or store:
- The websites or online services you visit.
- The content of your internet traffic.
- DNS query history used to build a browsing profile.
- Files, messages or communications transmitted through the VPN.
Limited technical connection data may be processed to establish and maintain the VPN connection, display service status, protect the network, prevent abuse and diagnose faults. This technical data is not used to create a history of your browsing activity.

6. Payment providers and app stores
Website payments are processed by Stripe. Stripe receives and processes payment and transaction data under its own privacy terms and applicable agreements with TravelVPN.
Purchases made through Google Play are processed by Google. Google may provide TravelVPN with subscription, purchase and account-related information needed to verify entitlement and manage access, but Google controls the payment information it collects directly.
7. Other service providers
TravelVPN may use carefully selected providers for hosting, email delivery, infrastructure, customer support, payment processing, app distribution, security and technical operations.
Providers receive only the data reasonably necessary to perform their services and are required to protect it under applicable contracts and law.
8. When data may be shared
Personal data may be shared:
- With service providers acting on our instructions.
- With payment providers and app stores involved in a transaction.
- When required by law, court order or a valid request from a competent authority.
- To investigate fraud, abuse, security incidents or violations of the Terms of Service.
- As part of a corporate restructuring, merger or sale, subject to appropriate safeguards.
TravelVPN does not sell personal data and does not sell browsing history.
9. International data transfers
Some providers may process data outside Spain or the European Economic Area. Where required, TravelVPN relies on recognised safeguards such as adequacy decisions, Standard Contractual Clauses or another lawful transfer mechanism.
10. Data retention
Personal data is kept only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, including service delivery, security, support, accounting, tax, fraud prevention and legal compliance.
- Account data is generally retained while the account remains active.
- Authentication sessions and tokens are retained only while needed for login and session management.
- Device and service records are retained while needed to provide and secure the subscription.
- Support correspondence may be retained to resolve requests and maintain service records.
- Billing and transaction records may be retained for legally required accounting and tax periods.
When data is no longer needed, it is deleted or anonymised unless retention is required by law.
11. Cookies and similar technologies
The TravelVPN website may use cookies, local storage or similar technologies for essential website functions, security, account sessions and payment flows.
Non-essential analytics or marketing technologies will be used only where implemented and where any required consent has been obtained.
12. Data security
TravelVPN uses technical and organisational measures intended to protect personal data, including access controls, secure authentication, encrypted communications, server security, monitoring and restricted administrative access.
No internet service can guarantee absolute security. Customers should protect access to their email account and devices because TravelVPN uses email-based authentication.
13. Your data-protection rights
Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have the right to:
- Request access to your personal data.
- Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data.
- Request deletion of personal data.
- Request restriction of processing.
- Object to certain processing based on legitimate interests.
- Request data portability where applicable.
- Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.

These rights may be subject to legal conditions and exceptions. We may need to verify your identity before responding.
14. Account and data deletion
You can request deletion of your TravelVPN account and associated personal data by following the instructions on the Delete Account page.
Account deletion does not automatically cancel a subscription handled by Stripe, Google Play or another payment provider. Cancel billing separately before deleting the account.
15. Children
TravelVPN is not directed to children who are not legally able to enter into a subscription contract. We do not knowingly create accounts for children without any consent required by applicable law.
16. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy when the service, app, providers or legal requirements change. The updated version will be published on this page with a revised “Last updated” date.
