Terms of Service

These Terms of Service govern access to and use of the TravelVPN website, applications, accounts, subscriptions, customer portal, support services and VPN service. By creating an account, starting a trial, purchasing a subscription or using TravelVPN, you agree to these Terms.

1. Service provider

TravelVPN is operated by Freedom Conexion Group S.L., Spain.

2. Service description

TravelVPN provides access to a virtual private network service through supported TravelVPN applications and associated account services.

The service may include:

• TravelVPN account registration and email-based authentication.
• VPN connection through available TravelVPN locations.
• Device registration and management.
• Connection status, public IP, activity and traffic information displayed in the app.
• Subscription, billing and Customer Portal functions.
• Customer support and account-management tools.

The available locations, applications, features and supported platforms may change as the service develops.

3. Eligibility

You must be legally capable of entering into a binding contract in your jurisdiction. If you use TravelVPN on behalf of a company or another organisation, you confirm that you are authorised to accept these Terms on its behalf.

4. Accounts and authentication

You must provide accurate information and use an email address that you control. TravelVPN uses email-based authentication, so the security of your email account is important.

You are responsible for:

• Protecting access to your email account and devices.
• Keeping account information reasonably accurate.
• Not allowing unauthorised persons to use your account.
• Promptly informing support of suspected unauthorised access.

You may not sell, transfer or commercially resell a personal TravelVPN account unless TravelVPN has expressly authorised this in writing.

5. Plans and device limits

TravelVPN offers plans with different device allowances and billing periods. The plan selected at checkout determines the number of devices that may be registered.

• Solo is intended for one registered device.
• Family is intended for up to three registered devices.
• All currently available TravelVPN locations are included unless a plan expressly states otherwise.

A device may need to be removed from the account before a replacement can be registered when the plan limit has been reached.

6. Free trials

Where a free trial is offered, its duration, the price charged after the trial and the billing period are disclosed before checkout.

Unless cancelled before the trial ends, the trial automatically converts to the selected paid subscription and the applicable payment method is charged.

Trial eligibility may be limited to new customers or one trial per customer, payment method, household or other reasonable anti-abuse criteria.

7. Payments and recurring subscriptions

Website subscriptions are processed through Stripe. Purchases made inside an app may be processed through Google Play or another applicable app store.

By starting a recurring subscription, you authorise the applicable payment provider to charge the displayed subscription price, including applicable taxes, at the stated billing interval until cancellation.

Prices, currencies, taxes and billing intervals are shown during checkout. App-store pricing may differ from website pricing because of local taxes, currency conversion, store fees or platform-specific pricing.

8. Cancellation

You may cancel a website subscription through the Stripe Customer Portal. App-store subscriptions must generally be cancelled through the store that processed the purchase.

Cancellation normally stops future renewal. Unless applicable law or the applicable store rules provide otherwise, access may continue until the end of the already-paid billing period.

Cancelling a subscription does not automatically delete the TravelVPN account. Account deletion is a separate process.

9. Refunds and withdrawal rights

Refund requests are handled under the Refund Policy, applicable consumer law and any rules of the payment provider or app store.

Nothing in these Terms limits mandatory statutory rights. Where a legal withdrawal right applies, its exercise may be subject to conditions, including rules concerning services that began at the consumer's request.

10. Acceptable use

You must not use TravelVPN to:

• Commit, facilitate or conceal unlawful activity.
• Engage in fraud, phishing, impersonation, scams or identity theft.
• Send spam or abusive bulk communications.
• Distribute malware, ransomware or harmful code.
• Attack, scan, disrupt or gain unauthorised access to systems or networks.
• Harass, threaten, exploit or harm other persons.
• Infringe intellectual-property rights or other legal rights.
• Interfere with TravelVPN infrastructure or bypass reasonable technical restrictions.
• Use the service in a way that creates excessive risk, instability or harm to third parties.

You are responsible for ensuring that your use of TravelVPN complies with the laws and contractual obligations applicable to you.

11. Suspension and termination

TravelVPN may restrict, suspend or terminate access where reasonably necessary, including when:

• Payment is overdue, reversed or fraudulent.
• The account exceeds its permitted device limit through abuse or circumvention.
• The service is used in violation of these Terms.
• Use creates a security, legal, operational or reputational risk.
• Suspension is required by law or a competent authority.

Where appropriate and legally permitted, we may provide notice and an opportunity to resolve the issue. Serious abuse, fraud or security threats may result in immediate action.

12. Service availability and changes

TravelVPN aims to provide a reliable service but does not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free or permanently available access.

Service may be affected by:

• Maintenance and upgrades.
• Server, hosting or network outages.
• Internet-provider restrictions.
• Device, operating-system or app-store changes.
• Third-party failures or events outside reasonable control.
• Security incidents or emergency measures.

TravelVPN may add, remove, replace or temporarily disable locations, servers, features or supported platforms when reasonably required.

13. Third-party websites and services

TravelVPN does not control third-party websites, apps, streaming platforms, banks, online services or internet providers.

We do not guarantee that a particular third-party service will always be accessible, available in a particular country or compatible with VPN use. Third parties may block, restrict or change access at any time.

14. Privacy and data protection

Personal data is processed as described in the Privacy Policy.

TravelVPN does not intentionally record the websites you visit or the content of traffic transmitted through the VPN. Limited technical data may be processed to operate, secure and troubleshoot the service.

15. Account deletion

You may request deletion of your account through the Delete Account page.

Account deletion does not automatically cancel subscriptions handled by Stripe, Google Play or another payment provider. Cancel billing separately before requesting account deletion.

16. Intellectual property

TravelVPN, its branding, software, website content, designs, graphics, documentation and related materials are owned by or licensed to Freedom Conexion Group S.L.

Subject to these Terms, you receive a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable right to use the service and supported applications.

You may not copy, modify, reverse engineer, redistribute, sublicense or commercially exploit TravelVPN software or materials except where applicable law expressly permits it.

17. Disclaimers

TravelVPN is provided with reasonable care and skill and subject to mandatory consumer protections. However, to the extent permitted by law, the service is provided without guarantees that it will meet every individual requirement or work with every third-party service.

TravelVPN is not a substitute for antivirus software, secure device configuration, safe browsing practices or protection of your email account.

18. Limitation of liability

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where exclusion or limitation is prohibited by law, including liability for fraud, wilful misconduct or other non-excludable matters.

To the extent permitted by law, TravelVPN is not responsible for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profits, loss of business, loss of opportunity, third-party restrictions or loss caused by matters outside TravelVPN's reasonable control.

Any limitation of liability will be applied in a manner consistent with mandatory consumer law.

19. Indemnity for prohibited use

To the extent permitted by law, you are responsible for losses, claims or costs resulting from your unlawful use of TravelVPN or material breach of these Terms. This section does not reduce any rights you have as a consumer under mandatory law.

20. Changes to the service or Terms

TravelVPN may update these Terms when the service, pricing model, applications, providers or legal requirements change.

Material changes will be communicated in a reasonable manner where required. The updated Terms will be published with a revised “Last updated” date.

21. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of Spain, without depriving consumers of mandatory protections available under the law of their country of residence.

Before starting formal proceedings, please contact support so that we can try to resolve the issue. Consumers may also have access to courts, regulators or alternative dispute-resolution mechanisms available under applicable law.

22. General provisions

If any provision of these Terms is held invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect.

Failure to enforce a provision immediately does not waive the right to enforce it later. Headings are included for convenience and do not limit the meaning of the Terms.
